How to set up VippsMobilePay?

This app enables your company’s agents to verify the customer’s identity using Vipps. For example, when a customer calls in. The VippsMobilePay app allows you to verify the customer before disclosing sensitive information. This significantly increases security.

Before setup, you need to do two things:

Register your company with Vipps:

Install the app from the Zendesk Marketplace:

  • You can find our Vipps integration in the Zendesk Marketplace here:

Once you’ve registered with Vipps and installed the app in Zendesk:

  1. Go to Apps and Integrations in Zendesk Admin
  2. Click Zendesk Support Apps, then select VippsMobilePay

To get a functioning app up and running, fill in the following fields:

BaseURL:

  • https://api.vipps.no/

ClientID and ClientSecret:

  • You can find this by going to the Vipps portal
  • Click developer in the bottom left corner
  • Select production as the environment
  • And view the keys

Search field reference:

  • We recommend leaving this as is
  • This determines which field is automatically populated in the app

Binding Message:

  • Can be changed to an internal reference, as desired

Scope fields:

  • Select the information you want to request from the customer

Role restrictions:

  • Choose this if you want to limit the app to specific roles in Zendesk

Group restrictions:

  • Choose this if you want to limit the app to specific groups in Zendesk

Click Update to save the changes.


The app will now be ready for use.
