Data Security in Vipps MobilePay application

We take data security seriously. Our app is built to run entirely within the Zendesk ecosystem and does not rely on any third-party APIs or external infrastructure. This design ensures that all operations remain within Zendesk’s secure environment.

Key Security Aspects:

  • No External Dependencies: All functionality is handled directly through Zendesk. There are no third-party services or servers involved in processing or storing data.
  • Secure Credential Storage: Credentials used by the app are stored in Zendesk’s dedicated Secure Vault, following best practices for access control and encryption.
  • Direct Communication with Vipps MobilePay: Any requests to Vipps MobilePay are routed through Zendesk’s secure proxy, ensuring encrypted, direct communication without any intermediaries.
  • Optional Logging: If logging is enabled, the only data stored is added as a private note to the Zendesk ticket. No log data is ever stored outside of Zendesk.

This setup guarantees that all data remains within the trusted boundaries of your Zendesk instance, maintaining strict security and compliance standards.
